A Massachusetts friend of mine was unemployed for six months .She had a few interviews a week for all of those months, not a single bite. (new job pays twice a month 15th and 30th of the month) I hope this is my final career destination.
She continues: "I thank God/ my Angels for my family and friends who were kind enough to lend me $3,000 to get through the past few months. They were so kind and put no conditions on the pay back. They told me to pay them when I can. Unemployment ends this week, sneaky government left $116 on my account so I will not get my full weekly benefit which should have been $509. Why complain? The Gov took care of her for six long months. All she needed. Thank God for the activists who created such entitlements as unemployment insurance. NOTE: As such high numbers of jobless, evicted, homeless, starving will take ANY jobs be aware of the many wild ideas that made it with unusual products or services.. Standing on our own, two legs as capitalists is the only remedy for America's recession. Of course, dumping Wall Street and the BANKS and POLS who work for the banks would help but guerilla capitalism is the guaranteed smart move. Newspapers only print the dummy figures Gov gives them, saying that there's 11% joblessness (in my state California) a figure that does not take into account folks who gave up looking.
