Today Obama told America that he'd watched a documentary on U-TUBE made by a high school teacher, of his "witnesses" (word borrowed from "REDS" --- his students ---telling about being evicted, foreclosed, not having food. It was a school on the wrong side of town as a dozen of them had horror stories and wept as they told them.  Well someone showed it to the president and he brought it up at his Town Hall in California.

So I turned off TV, I opened the newspaper and saw that Ahnold, our GOVERNANATOR wants to close down the TENT CITIES in Sacramento. Something clicked in my mind. I put the two stories together and thought, hey, why not U-TUBE up Ahnold's NOSE. Surely some WANNA BE FILMMAKER could rent a digital video camera, go down to the tent city and shoot a documentary. And probably get all kinds of TV distribution. Cable channels. News channels.

So I ran to CRAIGS LIST and put an ad up in Sacramento for TALENT section, GROUP section and ARTISTS' section. Craigs List requires that you change the order of the words each time as no duplicates of the text are allowed. Usually a new sentence at the top puts off the robots and spiders. I had the text saved, so simply cut and pasted it in to Craigs page with a new sentence at top each time.. I'm an old hand at that. I can do forty ads  in four hours if I want. So more or less finished ad read:

Here is news story "The Governor (TERMINATOR) unveiled plans on Thursday 18th March to shut down this sprawling blemish on the face of Sacramento, a "tent city" fer gawdsakes --of legitimate homeless not bagladies, one which has drawn worldwide media attention as a symbol of U.S. economic decline. Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson promised to first make alternative shelter space available for the estimated 150 men, women and children who inhabit the squalid encampment near the American River, at the edge of the city's downtown. THIS IS LIKE "ROGER AND ME" on the ground floor, (MICHAEL MOORE's first flick) Mayor Johnson toured the area with California Governor ArnoldSchwarzenegger on SAINT PADDIES' DAY, said he hoped to have the ramshackle settlement cleared of tents and debris in the next two to three weeks. "We want to move as quickly as we can," he told a news conference, insisting the city was determined to treat the tent dwellers with compassion. YEAH RIGHT! MOTEL ROOMS for a week? Then what? JAIL? "They are people out there. We have to do whatever we can do," he said. "We as a city are not going to shy away from it. We're going to tackle it head-on." Advocates for the homeless applauded the mayor's action. Municipal authorities in Sacramento have been debating the fate of the tent city for weeks. Sacramento has one of the highest mortgage foreclosure rates in the United States, and the homeless total in the city and surrounding county is estimated to have jumped nearly 10 percent last year to nearly 2,700. About half are believed to be living outdoors, according to a local survey.
