It was destroyed by US ARMY CORPS ENGINEERS with no permission, no warning. WORSE, the Los Angeles MAYOR asked his citizenry to apologize to the ARMY BY EMAIL for the civic rage and INVITE THE ARMY BACK to dig and bulldoze entire length of L.A. River putting armed soldiers along 100 miles of the famed L.A. River while they supposedly 'remake' our river. This would amount to a military occupation of our city. But near the homes of the poor. Does the military know something we do not? That they are about to pull Social Security and all Welfare type Aid and collect the instantly homeless starving poor in trucks for concentration camps they built at all the military bases themselves which are outside but near the city
The lake you see in TOP PHOTO above is the Sepulveda Basin and it is now filled in with DIRT! They had no permission. When a friend asked me how this happened "What is not clear is WHO allowed the Army Engineers into the area? Also, the Californian government could have immediately taken out a court order to evict them - within days of their trespassing on the land. So it appears that various high ranking Californian officials already knew of the army's plans well in advance and kept quiet, with, naturally, a financial kickback."
I answered that they'd dug the whole thing down to wagon ruts in a mudhole in 3 short days. COMPLAINTS BY AUDUBON/ SIERRA/ OUR STATE AND CITY GOV DID FOLLOW, but it was already too late! Army lied, said "whoops, our bad, the boss was gone that day and we thought it would be good to raze an area that the HOMELESS might come to."
So by the time anybody KNEW, the duck and fish-filled lake and 43 acre woods, meadows, parklands were gone forever. Geese fly over my home now, honking and looking for it. The ARMY converted a piece of HEAVEN into a flat barren site ready for an ARMY BASE, maybe or a FEMA HOLDING TANK or AUSCHWITZ relocation and HOUSING CAMP. 15 of my ANCESTORS DIED in places like that.
Where did logic, justice, reason go? Same place all the wild life went. BULLDOZED OVERNIGHT. Not a single duck, ibis or fish left. Some Army thug by the name of MARK TOY told huge crowds of weeping complainants, 'we went in to get porn, needles, perverts out.." HUH? It was VIRGIN FOREST! Do you buy that? The ARMY CORPS of ENGINEERS sneaks into and flattens a treasured wild life preserve in Los Angeles, right in the middle of the city, DESTROYING our San Fernando Valley's jewel of a WILD LIFE PRESERVE --- 42 acres of trees, forest/ brush, native flowers, fish and ducks, bobcats, king snakes, cleared it FLAT, hauled away the lumber and FILLED IN THE Fish & DUCK LAKE with DIRT and then explained with a LIE. They told us they'd done it to get rid of non-native plants which had somehow gotten in there. Why would the FEDERAL ARMY come here and do that? And then how could our government trumpet a second lie, 'we did it to keep homos out. There are condoms and beercans all around the grounds! " HUH? How about families, tents, children, fishermen, Audubon bird watchers!
Today there are 15 ARMY INSIGNIA military HUMMERS on the land which are called "H.1's" and a handful of covered trucks suitable for hauling personnel or prisoners. See pic immediately below. So people of America? Check your highways for signs of a parking lot full of hummers built where there once was open land or a park. We need your help in stopping these concentration camp 'landing stations' or freeway choke points from being built. They would be for PRISONER MANAGEMENT and that is NOT American. SEE THE VERY REAL DANGER OF FEMA CAMPS ACROSS AMERICA.

Homeland Security built a "secured housing facility" in northeastern
Oregon already. It was discovered by The Oregonian, my daily newspaper,
who started out being outraged by it, but got real quiet real quick.
They even got rid of the story from their archives on their web site.
On U-tube you can still watch the Jesse Ventura episode about these
"housing facilities". From looking at the pictures, the one in Oregon
looks a lot like the ones he showed on his Conspiracy Theory show. And
they put it in an area that is very remote with very little population
around. Actually similar to one in this area, but without the highway.As a side note, I'm hearing about people in this area seeing more drones
flying overhead. We've had them here for years. Most of us figured it
was because of the remote area and the terrorist training camps that
have been found in Eastern Oregon, but to the best of my knowledge, we
don't have any terrorist camps in operation and none have been found in

The soldiers could be quartered there, guns and all for any length of time they want, (with martial law.) Not every town will be that 'occupation' friendly-- not having that many motels!
