Imagine a DO GOODER INVITATION LIST, a big borrowed home with a holiday spread, a fabulous  FEAST,  INTELLECTUAL FOOD ALSO on the  MENU as you call up the local college, get that FAMOUS, progressive HISTORY TEACHER to attend and do a short LECTURE on TODAY'S GREATEST CHALLENGES which only PROLETARIAT INTERVENTION CAN FIX. He maybe brings a SLIDE SHOW. A DVD to play. I got started in activism by going to one GUATEMALAN FOLK ART DISPLAY with only slides of the FOLK MURDERED by USA GOV funded DEATH SQUADS! A total cold start. Didn't know what progressive activism WAS before that 'gallery night.'

And if it's XMAS, under the Christmas tree, everyone has brought a wrapped toy for a child, (Tagged "boy 10-15 yrs" ) or whatever.  (Later you take them to the Fire Station.) Imagine a party where all that is combined! I think Jesus Buddha and Gandhi would attend that party if only on the astral level. And you from that point forward will have the attention of the GODS and GURUS.

And you'll organize this to do it once a month and find amazing happiness. HI mean, HOW ARE THINGS NOW? That sweetheart filling your life with joy? How's the job doing? Making the rent? Want your pick of great jobs? Meeting people with POWER, STATUS is how you'll get it. Sure the LIFE 101 SEMINAR has  tips at the "HOW TO GET A JOB INDEX " But you do that too, along with CHARITY PARTIES which you PRODUCE.
 
This PROJECT is NOT hard. You won't have to cook. A few close pals will be on your staff. THE MAIN LIST of what to DO IS GETTING EVERY PAL that you invite to share HIS/ HER LIST of the best of their CHUMS, ranked by smarts & charisma. Then, your entire guest list brings food, something ---a dish they make especially well.  Some bring a box of red wine, others a jug of apple juice. Others bring paper plates/ forks and cups. Imagine all these new people you'll meet. You're talking eating after watching the screening of maybe a hot, new progressive documentary, meeting the great people, not the usual jerks but a hand selected from ACQUAINTANCE LISTS, UPPER 15% FRIEND MATERIAL.

Enjoy PARTY GIVING like this once or twice on holidays, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving but later go PRO. Secretary of State in the state capital bldg has a form to fill out. Get your charitable status. THIS is a great way to RAISE FUNDS ALL YEAR LONG-- RUNNING A TAX EXEMPT, FUND-RAISING actual FOUNDATION. You  are entitled by law to salary yourself as long as most of the take goes to HELP some group who needs help. Say single mothers with lots of kids who need help for DAYCARE.

ANOTHER way to SKIN THAT CAT (what with daycares running a thousand a month) is to give a non working single Mom the cash to pay another woman who IS already STAYING AT HOME with children. Cuts costs to a quarter or $250 a month for a group, not  250$ a week for just ONE child.

Then there's aid for that famous Lady Doctor in KENYA, JULIANA OTIENO from the NYENZA Hospital. Decades of free Medical care. Google her. Or there are groups that feedstarving people, homeless families who lost their home in the 2008 Wall street Bankster mortgage gate scam, folks who have no fridge, bath or stove who are on the street in anguish washing faces in gas station bathrooms in the winter cold, children going to school hungry and ill dressed. Find them thru non-gov welfare agencies who will help you find skid row overnight-stay lodges. You make donations from your party revenues.

FUND CHURCHES who do LUNCHTIME HOT MEALS every day. Those are the great humanitarians and they feed starving families daily but they could sure need some extra cash for a turkey. COLLECT GROCERIES for those churches! Or money. YOU TIE IN with a specific church and keep that TIE WARM AND COZY YEAR AFTER YEAR. Hey worst that can happen you start going to Sunday services again!

Statistics tell us that joblessness is endemic. One in four of us seeking a job and unable to get one, With nobody able to afford college (COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY is $53,000 a year strictly for tuition without rent, food or books.) we need to do something about giving the young a leg up.

That is a big one. PROTEST outside universities is required, also STOPPING THE PLUNDER by the GALACTIC OVERLORDS -- and saying HOW *%&(@* DARE THEY? aloud. FED GOV could pay everybody's schooling if they stopped genociding third world villages.

These issues are dwarfed by world famine. AROUND THE WORLD, 29,000 babies die daily of hunger  This figure is ten times the death count of bombing and DYING that way is long, slow and agonizing. The real enemy isn't Muslims, it's drought, famine, ignorance,  dirty water, pestilence, infection, maleria and ALL are the direct result of TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATIONS' POLICIES, THEIR CEOs' GREED. The big corps moved to the third world but their hearts didn't make the move. Let's force their attention to the horrid suffering they cause.

We need to persuade PUBLIC OPINION that it's time for the OLIGARCH SWINE to share the swill in the trough.  We are MAD AS HELL AND WE AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE.

You who are under 50 have the energy! There is much that an active young person can do, giving parties, concerts, raising funds and awareness and increasing the number of activists and their proclivity to show up at demonstrations. (And stay on the sidewalks so nobody's arrested.) And to ORGANIZE TO SUE THE COPS and the CITY WITH PRO BONO LAWYERS THE SECOND THE COPS STEP OUT OF LINE. This can be a lucrative pursuit and HELP FOMENT CHANGE as well as be the PERFECT HOBBY for someone like you, who hasn't found a well-rounded MISSION yet.

Start with the little moves:  VOLUNTEERING for extant charities. There's George Clooney's group which did a FEED AFRICA group.  you can work for Jolie or U2. SO MANY celebs run groups or YOU can create your OWN "PROGRESSIVE HUMANITARIAN AID GROUP" Give neighborhood parties, community holiday celebrations, carnivals, swap meets. And do it as a tax exempt non profit foundation. Even if you aren't famous if you provide fun reunions you can make a good living doing it.

We can become volunteers for the great charities that we already have in America. Locate WILLIE NELSON's FARM AID which is an excellent group to volunteer for. They feed Americans who couldn't get welfare After CLINTON finished with the DPSS and FOOD STAMP system. Appalachia is still starving and miserable. DOCUMENTARIANS, get busy.

SO MANY HUNGRY homeless PEOPLE are out there, feeling neglected, GRIEVING, wanting to help their family survive any way they can. AND VERY ANGRY. You know this adds to the CRIME FIGURES and the JAILED STATISTICS!

So be motivated. Do your POSTER ART. Create your DOCUMENTARY VIDEOS, Set up PARTNERSHIPS with back station DJ's. Arrange street demonstrations in the wake of every new law. PROTEST!
