CAUSES OF CRIB DEATH, STAPH AND ECOLI BACTERIA

INFANT Crib death linked to bacteria! 

High levels of ECOLI AND STAPH bacteria could be part of the cause of cot death, or sudden infant death (SID), (IN USA called CRIB DEATH.) UK researchers have suggested. SID is one of the most common forms of neonatal death in the UK and there are many theories as to why it occurs. Researchers at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital argue in the Lancet journal that bacteria could be behind a proportion of unexplained SID and say the mechanism for his should now be studied. They reviewed autopsies done at the hospital between 1996 and 2005 of 470 infants (aged seven days to one year) who died suddenly and unexpectedly. Bacterial samples – cultures - were studied from each baby.

Significantly more cultures from infants whose deaths were unexplained
contained Staphylococcus aureus bacteria (16 per cent) or E coli bacteria
( six per cent) than did those from infants whose deaths were of
non-infective cause (S aureus nine per cent; E coli one per cent).

The researchers say these differences suggest that infection with these
bacteria could be associated with unexplained cases of sudden, unexpected
death in infancy (SUDI).

"We found that significantly more organisms that were potentially
pathogenic were isolated from infants whose sudden, unexpected death could
not be explained than from infants whose death was of non-infective cause,"
they conclude. IF INFECTIONS CAUSE DEATH IN BABIES, no RELATIVES BREATHING ON THEM!

"Although the reasons for this are unclear, our findings suggest that
microbes or microbial products could be related to the pathogenesis of a
proportion of unexplained SUDI. We must now investigate the
pathophysiological mechanism involved in these cases."

In an accompanying comment, Dr James Morris and Dr Linda Harrison from the
Royal Infirmary, Lancaster, write: "Recent evidence indicates that death in
explained SUDI is often rapid, with transition from being well to death in
less than one hour in many cases. If bacteria have a role, this points to
direct action of bacterial toxins on cardio-respiratory or neural
control. The new science of proteomics offers techniques to recognise
bacterial protein products in human body fluids, and this is the
obvious next step in investigating sudden infant death."

So what have we learned? ECOLI, same bacteria as in undercooked meat
But from where does a baby get e coli bacteria? FAUCET water? OUR h20 must be tested.
Fecal remains on hands, wash before touching baby! Not you but maybe relative? Child?
SERVANT?

Get non-allergic mattress, sheeting. Google around to find what mattress should be made of.

JUICES! Babies might be given apple juice from a JUICER. Avoid home-made, unpasteurized juices unless you have thoroughly purified the fruit first! (1 tsp bleach per gallon of water, soak l0 min) Epidemics can start from raw juice sold commercially. Apples that lie on ground before being juiced are the guilty party. Or the people who threw them into the brew!

Adults can get same bacteria thru salads picked in open fields by unclean workers, (so, soak greens in sink w. 1 tsp chlorine) Restaurant food is often handled by unknown people with unknown sanitation so don't feed a baby anything from the table.  Bring his meal with you.

STAPH BACTERIA is in found in household pets dogs and  cats. Wash your hands, don't let pets near the infant or put infant anywhere pet sits! Avoid his blankets going where pets sit.

As there are so many causes of SID, and one or more can occur, one of them lowering immunity or resistance, another just being toxic, seek to eliminate all causes. In India, they don't let anyone near the mother for 40 days. The mother doesn't clean, work, walk, NOTHING. They have a doula attend to her. Germy place, India, so they learned centuries ago!

And REMEMBER, the BREATH of all visitors should not go near baby, ever. HANDS EITHER.
RELATIVES LOVE TO FEED BABY, TOUCH THE SPOONS. NO MORE. Strep as a baby gives
DAMAGED  HEART VALVES. You do not want it in the house.
