HOW TO PUBLISH YOUR OWN BOOK ONLINE

I am now a published author.
At cocktail parties, girls ask me,
what do I do? I say "I write mysteries
and thrillers." Oh, they ask,-- have you had
any movie bids? "Well", I answer, "I'm showing
my novel to producers daily. Cuz it's online.
No stamps, no costly xerox pages. At least
I'm up to bat. Somebody has to be the first
author to sell a novel to Hollywood from the Net.
Right? I'm in the ballgame at least. Say, want a date?"

That sounds like a good map for a writer. So, did you ever write a novel? Or start one? Or have a wild idea that nobody had ever done? Is your plot commercial? Is it HIGH CONCEPT? Could you imagine yourself telling a Hollywood producer your plot in a SINGLE sentence that absolutely grabs him. That he instantly recognizes is really commercial. Gripping. Some writer sold a project when he said that his script was "Jaws on a spaceship." That was the plot summation for ALIEN which motivated that producer at 20th to read the script. To option it, develop it. Could  your book online get itself read with a one sentence description?  IF SO, get it online!

There are many MORE companies that do this now.

Try this site: http://lulu.com  an excellent online service - you can electronically submit your book, and they can publish it electronically. A Yahoo poster/ Tipster said " It's print-on-demand, so you only pay for as many books as you order. And I've seen the quality (I have a Lulu published book on my shelf this very second) and it's very, very professional. "

Or here are some web sites for info about publishing: http://www.absolutewrite.com
and http://www.clmp.org

Go to their submission guidelines, follow it carefully, and submit!
