SOMEBODY SEEMS TO BE INSIDE MY PC BESIDES ME!

QUESTION: I hear that when you can no longer scan or defrag (as there is background  activity), you're FBI/ NSA  bugged, is that true?

ANSWER: How many times do you try and scan disk before you give up? Tell me what  system you are having the trouble on. Is it Netscape or Windows? What
things are running on your PC? When you go to scan/defrag is stuff running? Turn all programs off, In fact, don't even be ONLINE.

True, Hidden software that watches keystrokes can be downloaded onto your PC by an outside AGENCY. (AHEM!). If you're hemhoraging money I would suggest getting a tech to do a system analysis to see what all is  running. You can find hidden spyware but you have to know where to look. Do you dump your temp files after each time on the net? Also dump Internet temp file after every use that will help. PS. Go to  http://www.Lavasoft.org and download their spyware program. It picks up  hidden files and folders added to your system without your knowledge.

AT LEAST download some freebie spyware. Also do you know that you have to turn everything off when you clean the machine? Get off line, close down all the little icons on bottom right.

Get some free software you download online. Free is the key word !  In addition to Zone Alarm also  try Browser Hijack Blaster and Spybot. With these 3 free programs, you are as well protected as "free" can be. A tekkie told me: " I would use an anti-virus.  In fact, I'd use more than one.  What one  might miss, another may catch.  I use the free one I told you about.  It's  called AntiVir.  I also use F-Prot for DOS.  I like having a DOS-based  scanner because if a virus messes up Windows really badly I can attempt to  attack it from DOS:
