SOMEBODY SEEMS TO BE INSIDE MY PC BESIDES ME!

QUESTION: I hear that when you can no longer scan or defrag as there is background
activity, you're fbi bugged, is that true?

ANSWER: How many times do you try and scan disk before you give up? Tell me what
system you are having the trouble on. Is it Netscape or Windows? What
things are running on your PC? Hidden software can be downloaded onto your PC. I would
suggest getting a tech to do a system analysis to see what all is
running. You can find hidden spyware but you have to know where to look.
Do you dump your temp files after each time on the net? Also dump
Internet temp file after every use that will help. PS. Go to
http://www.Lavasoft.org and download their spyware program. It picks up
hidden files and folders added to your system without your knowledge.

AT LEAST download some freebie spyware.

Free is the key word !  In addition to Zone Alarm also  try Browser Hijack Blaster and Spybot.
With these 3 free programs, you are as well protected as "free" can be.
A tekkie told me: " I would use an anti-virus.  In fact, I'd use more than one.  What one
might miss, another may catch.  I use the free one I told you about.  It's
called AntiVir.  I also use F-Prot for DOS.  I like having a DOS-based
scanner because if a virus messes up Windows really badly I can attempt to
attack it from DOS:
