TO BE BEAUTIFU, use the bath tub constructively. First, before you step in, always rub a light cream into the skin, then soak for a while.  After five minutes, start the brushing and scraping of the softened, creamed up skin which produces a cleansing away of dried skin particles. Use a stiff bristle brush or a pumice stone.

The biggest skincare tip for women is do NOT soak in hot water. YOU may relax the stress but you make your skin into a soft, wraparound tostada. At times, my friend --the single mother with a cottage industry, used to do the hottest soak she could tolerate, the longest.....to relax her nerves at day's end.

She tells me that today her skin is hard, dry, wrinkled and aged. Not a good thing. Hot water does other things, too. Things you don't want. It makes the blood out of balance. Hot water also leaches protein from the hair, skin and nails. And it is said that the chlorine enters US! (Always have a water filter on your shower head and fill the top that way!)

You'd be wise to stop that super hot water for relaxing unless you're a NUN and don't care how you look in the buff.  Hot water costs $ too. A penny a gallon then heating it is extra. Spend less and you'll be relaxed, right there! Use tepid water, which is balancing to the blood/lympth. One can throw in some sea salt which pulls toxins from the blood/lymph. A good bath in  sea salt or even a swim in the ocean always makes us feel so healthy. The reason? Solar light, solar air, salt water, the elements.
