FEMA IS HIRING STAFF FOR CONCENTRATION CAMPS AS WE SPEAK:

Last week, December, 2011, Congress passed a law allowing them to jail anyone they deem a terrorist, no proof, no judicial process. You can be 'disappeared.' LEGALLY. They are already hiring GUARDS for the army bases they turned into jails. See  National Guard Ad for FEMA Prison Camp Positions

Gary Franchi, has done two movies ("Camp Fema"; "Enemy of the State") on the new FEMA detention camps being built to hold your family when you are jobless and homeless and the city does NOT want you on the street.  Ron Paul will not admit that they are building such things, nor will the U.S. government admit to it. Such admission would only esculate the paranoia and criticism.

These already in existence FEMA camps are an extremely good case in point as to how easily the U.S. public (and that includes the multi-corporate media) can be lead anywhere. When you have large facilities obviously build for detention (the barb wire faces in - not out), you can't really hide these things. Many people have filmed and documented them and there are hundreds across the country - mostly old army bases closed during the Clinton years - yet, the government says they don't exist, so they don't exist.

Jesse Ventura did a special on this issue on his TruTV series,
"Conspiracy Theory", visiting some of these facilities. All past
episodes are available on the TruTV Web site ... except that one, which
was removed. Glenn Beck decided he was going to debunk the FEMA camps,
and ended up being a believer. "I can't debunk them", he said on a Fox
News morning talk show, explaining that they, indeed, do exist. That
evening, on his own show, Beck said they were just a crazy rumor.

So the wild rumors flow from those who are smart enough to distrust the
government but not smart enough to look at things logically. These
people see these camps as death camps or other such paranoic concepts. I
don't think I am ready to take that leap.

As the American financial structure collapses - and it will, along with
most of the rest of the world - all of those who never pay any attention
to what is going on in the world and believe either Abraham Lincoln or
Eldridge Cleaver or Soupy Sales was the first president, will react with
anger when they go down to the Seven-Eleven and there's no food on the
shelves. So, now that they can't get what they want, they cry. Only,
they're not babies anymore, so they go out and throw Molotov cocktails.

Police departments across the country, through federal funding, are
purchasing portable watchtowers. These units are self-contained and will
extend an air conditioned guard unit, capable of holding several people,
high into the air. When the tower is collapsed, it can be driven down
the road. They also have machines that can cordon of large areas with
barb wire in a very short amount of time.

Should we criticize our government for preparing for such occurrances on
a massive scale? There is little doubt in my mind that they are doing
the job we expect our government to do - being proactive. Do I like it?
No! Neither do I want to see our society become utter chaos because a
whole lot - and I mean a WHOLE lot - of people haven't a clue what is
going on and have no intelligent means of coping with radical change
when it happens. They can't even imagine it and they're going to get mad
when someone bursts their bubble and they have to deal with the real
world.

If things really get out of hand, along with the cocktail throwers will
go members of the press and anyone else the government may deem as being
against their line of thinking. It won't be fair, it won't be just, and
it won't be pretty. There is no doubt whatsoever that the government
will esculate the situation.

I don't agree with the secrecy, either. Avoiding reality, and avoiding honesty, have strong reprecussions. As Ayn Rand says, you can avoid these things, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding them. Our leaders can be put into two categories - those who know and those who don't know. Those who know are playing a game, which they will play as long as they can. Those who don't know (the majority) will play along thinking they have the possibility of winning, thus perpetuating the game.
